The Saudi Market Authority approves 3 public offerings for funds belonging to “Al-Arabi Capital”


The Saudi Capital Market Authority has approved public offerings for 3 funds belonging to Al-Arabi Capital.

The Authority said in a statement today, Wednesday, that it had agreed to “Al-Arabi Financial Company” to offer the units of “Al-Arabi Financial Opportunity Fund” as a public offering.

And the Capital Market Authority announced the approval of “Al-Arabi Financial Company” to offer the units of “Al-Arabi Financial Shares Distribution Fund (Sharia-compliant)” as a public offering.

The Capital Market Authority also approved the “Al-Arabi Financial Company” to offer the units of the “Al-Arabi Financial Opportunity Fund (Sharia-compliant)” as a public offering.

She added that the decision to invest without reviewing the terms and conditions of the fund and studying their content, may involve high risks. Therefore, the investor must review the terms and conditions of the fund, which contain detailed information about the fund, the investment strategy and risk factors, and study them carefully to be able to estimate the feasibility of the investment or not in light of the associated risks, and in the event that it is not possible to understand the contents of the terms and conditions, it is preferable to refer to the fund manager for further information.

She explained that the Authority’s approval of the fund offering should not be viewed as an endorsement of the feasibility of investing in the fund, as the Authority’s decision to approve the offering means that the regulatory requirements have been complied with according to the Capital Market Law and its implementing regulations.
