Establishing a new logistics area at King Abdulaziz Port

This coincided with the launch of the added EJBS service from the Emirates Shipping line, which includes King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam – Shuwaikh Port in Kuwait – Jebel Ali Port in the Emirates – Khalifa bin Salman Port in Bahrain and back to King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam. It is noteworthy that King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam witnessed, during the year 2022 AD, the addition of a number of new shipping lines and shipping services, including the “FAM” freight service of the “Sea Lead” company in cooperation with the “Saudi International Ports Company”, the operator of the two container terminals in the port, and the added “EJBS” service. From the “Emirates Shipping Line” shipping line, and the “GIX2” shipping line added by “ALADIN EXPRESS DMCC”.

The port has enhanced its competitiveness and expansion plans by adding the ports of Shanghai and Singapore to the shipping service of the (PIL) company, which supports import and export operations, and confirms its operational efficiency. The port comes in the fourteenth rank in the world in the container port performance index issued by the World Bank for the year 2021 AD, as a result of the continuous development operations and the continuation of the successes, which in turn contributed to enhancing productivity and emphasizing its qualitative logistical capabilities.
