Today, Thursday, the French Ministry of Defense affirmed France’s commitment to the historic partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Enhance defense cooperation
The ministry said in a statement, following a phone call between French Defense Minister Sebastien Locorno and Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, that France will strengthen defense cooperation with the Kingdom in the face of threats.
The two ministers expressed a common desire to deepen the historical partnership in the field of defense between the two countries.
Promote dialogue in the face of threats
They also discussed several regional and international files, including the situation in the region, especially in Lebanon and Yemen, and agreed to strengthen dialogue between them regarding threats to the interests of France and Saudi Arabia and the security and stability of the Middle East and Europe.
Minister Locorno reminded, during the call, of his country’s deep commitment to the security and stability of the Kingdom, and announced his intention to visit her next February.
