The Council of Ministers approved a new amendment that doubles the fees for renewing exit and return visas and renewing residency in cases where residents are outside Saudi Arabia.
The new amendment stipulates that the exit and return visa fees are 200 riyals for a single trip for a maximum of two months, and 100 riyals for each additional month if the resident is inside Saudi Arabia, and in the event that the resident is outside Saudi Arabia, the fee for the additional month is doubled, within the limits of the validity period of the residency.
Whereas, 500 riyals for the number of trips for a period of 3 months, and 200 riyals for each additional month if the resident is inside Saudi Arabia, and in the event that he is outside Saudi Arabia, the fee for the additional month will be doubled, within the limits of the validity period of the residency.
The amendment to Article 38 of the residence system, which was published in the official newspaper, Umm Al-Qura, stipulates the renewal of residence permits for the companions of foreign workers and domestic workers if they are outside the Kingdom through the electronic portal of the Ministry of Interior, with a fee that is double what is collected if they are inside Saudi Arabia.
