Recent discoveries have revealed a diversified portfolio of uranium in the kingdom

Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said today, Wednesday, that the recent discoveries showed a diversified portfolio of uranium in the Kingdom.

At the mining conference held in Riyadh, the minister added that this use includes the production of yellow cake, low-enriched uranium and the manufacture of nuclear fuel.

He explained that the Kingdom intends to use its uranium resources in line with international obligations and standards for the nuclear fuel production cycle.

And Prince Abdulaziz had said earlier, “We have large quantities of uranium, and we will exploit them commercially in the best way… We will deal with uranium reserves with full transparency, and we will search for the appropriate partners.”
