Free of charge.. Transportation of pilgrims from Jeddah Airport to the Great Mosque of Mecca

King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, western Saudi Arabia, revealed the launch of a shuttle service for pilgrims, from Terminal 1 to the Grand Mosque, free of charge.

The airport pointed out, through its official account on “Twitter”, that it is required to wear the Ihram dress, and to show the national identity of the citizen, as well as to show the resident’s passport, explaining that the transportation area is located on the first floor next to the fish tank to the Kadi station, up to the King Abdulaziz endowment stop.

And the official account of the airport stated that the flight times from the airport are every two hours from ten in the morning until eleven in the evening, and frequent transport flights depart from the Grand Mosque to the airport every two hours, and flights start from twelve in the evening until twelve in the morning.

For its part, the General Motors Syndicate announced, through its Twitter account, the launch of the experimental phase of the service for transporting Umrah pilgrims from King Abdulaziz Airport, Terminal One, to the Grand Mosque in Mecca, “King Abdulaziz Endowment.”
