“Shams” announces the resignation of Ali Salham, CEO

The Tourism Enterprises Company “Shams” announced that it has accepted the resignation of its CEO, Ali Abdullah Salham, due to his personal circumstances and reasons.

The company said in a statement on “Tadawul Saudi Arabia”, today, Monday, that the managing director will manage the company during the coming period.

In another context, the Tourism Enterprises Company announced the start date for distributing compensation amounts to holders of priority rights who did not exercise their right to subscribe to the new shares, as of Monday, January 16th.

She added that the total amount that will be distributed to the eligible persons who did not exercise their right to subscribe and those entitled to fractions, amounts to about 5.02 million riyals.

She explained that she would deposit the amounts in the bank accounts of the eligible persons who did not exercise their right to subscribe to the new shares and those entitled to fractional shares, and as for the eligible persons whose bank account data was not available or was incomplete, they can review the company’s main center or contact the Shareholders Relations Department during times The official work hours are from eight in the morning until four in the evening.

The Tourism Enterprises Company “Shams” announced the results of the remaining offering and the allocation of priority rights shares, with a coverage rate of 136.93% at the end of the remaining offering period, with 7.38 million shares sold.

Shams said that the total amount returned from the sale of unsubscribed shares is about 73.82 million riyals, with an average selling price of 10.68 riyals per share.

She added that the net amount of compensation for owners of priority rights and fractional shares amounts to about 5.02 million riyals.
