We have reached out to Iran and are trying to find a path to dialogue
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said today, Tuesday, that the kingdom has reached out to Iran and is trying to find a path to dialogue.
He added, during his speech at a session at the Davos Forum in which Gulf and European ministers participated: “Dialogue is the best way to resolve differences in the region..and we are trying to find a path for dialogue with everyone and focus on development.”
The Saudi foreign minister also considered that “focusing on development rather than geopolitical affairs is a strong signal to Iran and others that there are other paths to shared prosperity.”
In a related context, Prince Faisal bin Farhan said that Riyadh has a “strong partnership with the United States, but this does not mean that we always agree.”
On the other hand, the Saudi foreign minister said that the kingdom’s economy will be the fastest growing this year.
He added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is with the transition to clean energy, but that will take decades, adding that “the Kingdom is working to stabilize energy security.”
He pointed out that OPEC + faced market fluctuations, and worked in favor of producers and consumers.
