Completion of 20% of the project’s infrastructure

The CEO of “NEOM” company, Nazmi Al-Nasr, said that 20% of the project’s infrastructure has been completed, and work is continuing to deliver the infrastructure to the areas ready for construction, and it is proceeding according to the scheduled dates.

Nazmi Al-Nasr added, in an interview with Al-Arabiya today, on the sidelines of the activities of the World Economic Forum in Davos, that the national and international private sector sees an opportunity to finance and invest in the project, as a successful investment project that is keen to attract the private sector as a priority, after providing the infrastructure.

He explained that the “NEOM” company launched a plan to promote the project, held meetings in America and Europe, and is heading to hold meetings in Asia to introduce the world to the “NEOM” project, and that it provides investment opportunities, and “we have seen wonderful, positive and very encouraging reactions from investors” to become part of the participation in building Founding of NEOM.

Al-Nasr confirmed that the “NEOM” project will be ready in several stages, because it consists of dozens of projects.

He expected that the first of the projects, Sindalah Island, would be opened at the beginning of next year, provided that the project’s openings would continue starting in 2024.

Sandala Island is located in the Red Sea on a total area of ​​approximately 840 thousand square meters, and it is one of a group of islands that will be developed in Neom according to different visions and designs that distinguish each island from the other.

It is planned that the Sindala Island project will create 3,500 jobs that support the tourism sector, hospitality and entertainment services.

Sindala Island will include a charming and lively marina with 86 berths, making it an ideal destination to accommodate large boats and yachts, making it the main gateway to the Red Sea, which offers exceptional cruise experiences.

Sindala Island will provide 413 hotel rooms with the highest international standards, in addition to 333 high-end hotel apartments that are characterized by a high level of services, in addition to a luxurious beach club and a yacht club, while providing exceptional experiences in international restaurants on the island.
