The Electricity and Water Utilities Company in Jubail and Yanbu “Marafiq” announced that it had reached a final settlement agreement with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority regarding Zakat differences for the years 2015, 2016, 2017.
The company revealed that an amount of 64.2 million riyals had been agreed with the Zakat Authority.
The company had indicated in the prospectus issued under the risks related to zakat claims paragraph, in which it was indicated that the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority imposed zakat differences on the company for the years 2015, 2016, 2017 in an amount of 99.7 million riyals.
