The Saudi Football Association is establishing the “Saudi House” area to coincide with the 33rd General Assembly meeting of the Asian Football Confederation, which will be held in the Bahraini capital, Manama, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, to introduce the national culture and stadiums included in the Saudi file for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup matches.
It is expected that the AFC will announce, during the meeting that will be held on the first of February, the winning file to officially organize the tournament, in which Saudi Arabia participates in the file hosting its slogan “Together for the Future of Asia”, to host the Asian Championship in its nineteenth edition.
It introduces the “Saudi House” to the stadiums that are nominated to host the matches, in addition to various sections and pavilions. Including the hospitality area, which seeks to highlight the features of Saudi culture to visitors, including heads and officials of international sports federations, members of the Asian Confederation, media professionals, and influential figures in the sports field. The area will offer Saudi coffee; A symbol of generosity, hospitality, and hospitality, in addition to offering a variety of dates, and a selection of popular foods that represent the 13 regions of the Kingdom.
The “Saudi House” also hosts a football museum that shows the Kingdom’s ancient history in previous Asian championships, as the Saudi national team participated 10 times in the Asian Cup, and won the title three times (1984, 1988, 1996), and was runner-up three times.
The establishment of the “Saudi House” area comes as an initiative of the Saudi Football Association. To introduce the stadiums nominated to host the largest continental football event, and to show the spherical development of the Green Falcons, as the team proved its superiority by participating for the sixth time in its history in the World Cup, and showed an honorable performance, especially after its victory over Argentina (the World Cup champion).
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Football Association established the “Saudi House” area for the first time in Doha, coinciding with the 2022 World Cup, and for a full month it received more than 400,000 visitors, who learned about Saudi sports, culture and arts through 10 pavilions and more than 21 activities.
