The Saudi embassy in Iran operates after Eid al-Adha

Al-Arabiya channel’s delegate said that the Saudi embassy in Iran and the consulate in Mashhad will begin their work after Eid al-Adha.

Earlier, confirmed Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhanthat he discussed with the Iranian side the completion of the opening of embassies in the two countries, explaining that work is currently underway to resume the work of diplomatic and consular missions in the two countries.

And Prince Faisal bin Farhan added, during a press conference with his Iranian counterpart, Hussein Amir Abdullahian, that the Saudi embassy will soon be opened in Tehran, pointing out that Iran has provided facilities for the return of diplomatic missions to Tehran to work.

He stressed that the talks with Iran were positive and clear, pointing out that he hopes that the return of relations with Tehran will be reflected in the region and the world.

The Saudi foreign minister stressed the need for mutual respect and non-interference in internal affairs, adding that his visit to Tehran coincides with the approaching occasion of the Hajj season, as Saudi Arabia is honored by its embrace of the Two Holy Mosques and its service to the guests of Rahman, pilgrims and Umrah performers.
