In his first appearance since the rebellion of the commander of the Wagner forces, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited the headquarters of the Russian forces participating in the military operation in Ukraine, according to the Russian Novosti Agency.

According to the Russian “LAM” media, Minister Shoigu visited the area of ​​the special military operation, where he inspected the operations command center of the Western Military District.

And the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Shoigu inspected the command center in the front lines and listened to the report of the group commander, Colonel Yevgeny Nikiforov, about the field situation, the enemy’s movements, and the combat missions carried out by the Russian forces in the region.

The ministry added that the commander of the “West” forces briefed Shoigu on the process of assembling the newly formed reserve forces to join his forces.

Shoigu directed that special attention be paid to organizing comprehensive support for the forces participating in the military operation, and to creating the necessary and safe conditions for the deployment of forces.
