The acquisition process has begun.. Putin has appointed 100 Wagner companies

A week after the military mutiny that gripped Moscow and the world last Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s tough response came as promised.

The takeover of the Kremlin master has begun Wagner GroupAccording to the Wall Street Journal, the Russian security services have taken full control of several of the group’s sites.

100 companies around the world

The newspaper quoted Western sources on Monday as saying that Putin seeks to control 100 companies linked to Wagner around the world.

It also followed that the group’s leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, had transferred some of his assets to his aides before the attempted revolt.

It revealed that “Putin’s cook”, as Prigozhin was known, had built one of the most complex institutional structures in Wagner, so that it would be difficult for the Russian president to hold the group accountable due to the difficulty of understanding its institutional structure.

Around this time a sweep began, as agents from Russia’s Federal Security Service, or FSB, searched inside the locked glass tower headquarters of the Wagner Group in St. Petersburg for evidence against Prigozhin.

Russian security found fake passports with pictures of Yevgeny Prigogine while searching the Trezzini Hotel in St. Petersburg, which is the office of Prigogine, the Wagner Group’s financier.

“soft coup”

It is noteworthy that the commander of Wagner had suddenly announced last Saturday that his forces had entered Russian lands and headed towards the capital, Moscow, announcing his refusal to retreat or surrender.

However, after nearly 24 hours, Belarus entered the mediation line between Prigozhin and Moscow. That sudden and short adventure ended with Wagner’s leader being “exiled” to Belarusian territory.

And let him announce from there that his goal was not to overthrow the Russian government or the rule of President Vladimir Putin, but rather to protect the Wagner Group.

While Putin gave the Wagner operatives the option to either leave for Belarus, join the Russian forces, or return to their homes.
