Erdogan after meeting Zelensky: Go back to peace talks


On his first visit to Türkiye yet Conflict broke out In his country, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that his country is cooperating with Turkey in the field of defense, production and import of marches.

On the other hand, Erdogan found that Russia and Ukraine should return to peace talks, announcing the continuation of efforts to end the war.

He announced his country’s support for the reconstruction movement in Ukraine, explaining that it deserves NATO membership.

The Turkish president revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Turkey next month.

It is noteworthy that both Zelensky and Erdogan want to extend an agreement with Russia that would allow Ukraine to ship corn and other grains to global markets during the war.

Erdogan tried to use his good relations with both Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin in an attempt to mediate and end the war.

Turkey also organized two previous rounds of peace negotiations and is still pressing for more talks, amid Western governments’ concern over the growing economic ties between Turkey, a NATO member, and Russia and its resistance to the alliance’s expansion.
