After US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen renewed, last Sunday, her warning that there are major differences with China that must be discussed clearly and directly, following her recent visit there, she returned today with a new statement.
On Tuesday, the senior American official considered that the divergence between Beijing and Washington was caused by a “misunderstanding.”
And she announced that her country is seeking today to build a fruitful working relationship with China.
