Mohamed Ali Fahim, Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture for Climate Affairs in Egypt, warned citizens against direct exposure to sunlight, stressing the need to reduce the exit of children and the elderly from homes to the streets during daylight hours, while drinking large amounts of water.

The advisor to the Minister of Agriculture for climate affairs revealed that the India depression deepens in the north of the country and the Sudan depression deepens in the regions of southern Upper Egypt, stressing that due to the two depressions the country is witnessing a record rise in temperatures, and the temperature in Cairo and the Delta reaches 41 degrees, and Minya, Beni Suef, Fayoum and Assiut 42 degrees, Sohag, Qena, Luxor and Aswan 44 degrees.

And the advisor to the Minister of Agriculture advised citizens to eat more vegetables and fruits, and the need to prevent salty food and caffeine as well, pointing to the need to wear cotton clothes, cover the hands, wear white covers on the head, and stay away from sunlight and not be exposed to it, from ten in the morning until four in the afternoon. .

According to the Egyptian media, the thermal dome is an extension of an air rise in the upper layers of the atmosphere, that is, at a height of 5 to 6 km from the earth’s surface. Great temperatures, and the last time this phenomenon hit the Arab world was 120 years ago.
