Trump did not support the structure of Hamas in Qatari lands

Agencies – Washington:
The White House confirmed on Tuesday that US President Donald Trump did not support Israel’s decision to carry out strikes against Hamas in Qatari territory.
White House spokesperson Caroline Levitte told reporters that while eliminating Hamas is a valuable goal – as she put it – the implementation of a blow to Doha does not serve the goals of neither Israel nor America.
She added, according to the statement that followed that Trump sees in Qatar a strong ally and a US friendly country, and he feels very uncomfortable to the site where this attack was done.
Levitt said: (Pentagon) informed the US presidency that Israel is attacking Hamas in Qatar, and added that Trump “asked the American envoy to the region, Steve Whittvouf, informing the Qataris of the imminent attack.
She considered that the bombing was unilateral in a sovereign country, stressing that the attack does not serve the goals of Israel or America, and revealed that Trump spoke to the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after the attack.
Levitt said: The United States is sorry for the site of the attack, and she added: We assured Qatar that such a matter will not be repeated on its soil, and she said: Netanyahu informed Trump during the call yesterday that he wanted to achieve peace quickly.
