Erdogan calls on the SDF to integrate into the Syrian state

Yesterday, Wednesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on the Kurds in Syria to complete their integration into the country, after declaring a ceasefire between government forces in Damascus and Kurdish forces in the north of the country.

Erdogan said to a number of journalists on his plane after his return from abroad on Wednesday: “The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) must adhere to their promises. They must complete their integration into Syria.”

For his part, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan pointed out that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are pursuing a separatist agenda in Syria under the guise of fighting ISIS, calling on them to abandon this approach.
