Russia accuses NATO of sponsoring “nuclear terrorism” of Ukraine

Today, Friday, Russia accused the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) of sponsoring what it called “nuclear terrorism” practiced by Ukraine.

The statements made by the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, and reported by the (Tass) news agency, came after the crash of a Ukrainian drone in the Russian town of Kurchatov, which includes a nuclear plant, in the Kursk border region.

“A Ukrainian drone fell in the town of Kurchatov, where the Kursk nuclear power plant is located,” Zakharova said.

Zakharova added, “The people (member states) of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) must realize that their country’s governments sponsor the nuclear terrorism practiced by the Kiev regime.”

The Russian news agency “Tass” quoted the governor of the Kursk region as saying earlier today that a Ukrainian drone crashed in Kurchatov last night, resulting in the smashing of the facade and windows of a residential building, but without injuries.
