Stephen Wilheit, one of the main inventors of GIF, has died of COVID at the age of 74, Mulla for his wife, Kathleen.
He was born on March 3, 1948 in the United States
• Worked as a computer systems engineer at CompuServe
• He and his team managed to develop the (GIF) format in 1987
• At the time, he was able to compress the graphic data and graphics in a format that facilitates it
• Weylheit received the Webby Award for his contribution to the development of the Internet in 2013
Retired in the first decade of the twentieth century
• He spent his time traveling, camping, and building models in the basement of his home
• He passed away on March 14, 2022, as a result of being infected with the Corona virus, at the age of 74 years
