OneWeb launches satellites from Indian space airport


OneWeb has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Indian company, Indian New Space India, to begin in 2022 the launch of its satellites from the Satish Dhawan Space Airport located on the island of Shriharikota in the Bay of Bengal, according to a statement published by the company.

OneWeb and New Space India Limited, in their own capacity, could jointly assist OneWeb to complete its communications satellite launch programme.

The launch of the first joint satellite with New Space India is expected in 2022 from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Shriharikota, and the launch will increase the size of the OneWeb satellite constellation, which now includes 428 satellites, or 66% of its total number.

Remember, the company announces, tastes, that it is ignited from now on, followed by the launch of its satellites to Earth with the American company SpaceX. And whoever is launched is launched, a satellite will be launched from its spaceport in 2022 as well. The terms of both deals were not disclosed.
