Learn about the discoveries of the Hubble Space Telescope on the 32nd anniversary of its launch

Sunday marks the 32nd anniversary of a telescope, and since its launch in 1990, the telescope has helped reveal the secrets of the universe and has also produced some stunning stunning images of space.

The merged Hickson Cluster 40 consists of three spiral galaxies, one elliptical galaxy, and one lenticular galaxy, all very close together, and eventually one will collide and merge into a large galaxy.

While other similarly dense clusters of galaxies, the centers of galaxy clusters, have been observed, this cluster is unusual for being located in a relatively region of space, leading astronomers to question why the cluster has receded.
