Russia contributes to maintenance work at the Baikonur Cosmodrome

The “Ross Cosmos” Foundation announced that the Russians will contribute experts to the maintenance operations that some of them will undergo at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, according to RT.

“Employees of the Russian Yuzhny Center will renovate the concrete surface of the gas duct located on the 31st launch pad at the Baikonur Cosmodrome,” a statement from the foundation said.

The statement “In addition to the distinguished works, you will find success in a ready-made stage.”

Maintenance work is carried out by Ross Cosmos, which is supposed to last more than about a month, and be completed by July 20.

The Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan is one of the main bases that Russia relies on to launch space operations, and recently the Roskosmos Corporation indicated that it plans to launch 15-20 missiles from this base this year.
