BlackBerry’s revenue outperforms in the areas of automotive technologies, cyber cars
Canada’s BlackBerry topped Wall Street, America’s, Quarterly, 2010, 2010 estimates Automotive business and cybersecurity sectors, as space required for automobiles and auto technologies to boost sales of BlackBerry vehicles in the vehicles it makes in automobiles.
BlackBerry Inc said revenue is from a business segment that includes auto products and auto technologies that allow cars to access the Internet.
Revenue from the company’s cybersecurity segment, which is the largest, rose 6 percent to $113 million as more companies migrated to cloud platforms that support pandemic-fueled rendering to work after, and revenue fell 3.4 percent to $168 million for the quarter ended 31 May, but it beat the average analyst destination of $160.7 million, according to Refinitiv’s IBES data.
The net loss widened to $181 million, or 35 cents a share, from $62 million, or 11 cents a share, a year earlier, and excluding items, BlackBerry reported a rental of 5 cents per share, in line with analyst estimates.
