Rock band Green Day is coming to Chicago to headline Lollapalooza on Sunday. Along with that, the band announced they will be playing an aftershow on Friday, July 29 at the famous Metro in Wrigleyville.
The show will be 18+ and doors will open at 9:00 PM for the 11 PM show. Tickets will be $60 in advance online and $70 on the day of at the door. It is doubtful there will be day-of tickets available. Ticket sales will open on Wednesday, July 27 at 11:00 AM CT. All tickets are being sold online and will be will call only. Visit the Metro’s website to purchase tickets.
The last time Green Day was in town was for the Hella Mega Tour. The show also included rock acts Fall Out Boy and Weezer. It was across the street from the Metro at Wrigley Field, where they put on one hell of a show. The Metro will provide a much more inmate setting, so get your tickets early.
