Research changing the timing of studying and working remotely in Riyadh


The traffic spokesman in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, Colonel Mansour Al-Shakrah, said that changing the study timing for schools and universities and transferring “remote” work for some government agencies to deal with traffic congestion in Riyadh will be discussed.

He added, in a statement to the official Saudi Al-Ikhbariya channel, that the Public Security Directorate, represented by the General Traffic Department, is currently discussing the challenges of traffic density on the road network in Riyadh, with the participation of the relevant authorities.

A workshop entitled “Traffic Density and Proposed Operational Solutions” will be held to discuss the challenges of traffic density on the road network in the city of Riyadh.

He explained that this workshop is expected to come out with a set of recommendations that contribute to raising traffic safety on the roads, maintaining road security, and possible solutions to achieve a smooth traffic flow.
