The famous Lebanese chef, Ramzi Choueiri, died of a severe heart attack
On Sunday evening, the famous Lebanese chef, Ramzi Choueiri, passed away at the age of 52, after suffering an acute heart attack.
Chef Ramzi was known through the cooking segment that he presented on Future TV in the nineties, and he is considered one of the most famous TV personalities, as he introduced the interactive self to the cooking segment, by opening direct communications to take advice or to ask him about the ingredients and details of the recipes.
Selling 650,000 copies
He released his first book in 1998, of which more than 650,000 copies have been sold to date.
He also has a book “Chef Ramzy from Lebanon’s Heritage”, which is the result of the heritage recipes he collected during his wanderings in Lebanese villages for more than two years in 2003. It was translated into 5 languages and won in Barcelona the award for the best heritage cookbook in the world.

After recording more than 3,000 episodes, he left Future TV after 17 years, and moved to the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation, through which he appeared on Friday in a weekly segment during the “Sweet and Bitter” program.
