Moments of terror.. A Jordanian escapes from a stray bullet that pierced his clothes

Eid al-Adha for the Jordanian young man, Firas, turned into days of terror that he lived moment by moment after a bullet penetrated his clothes and exited without harming him, as God’s providence prevented him from being harmed.

The stray bullet reached Firas inside his car, after a fight and a chase for two vehicles in the Naour area on the outskirts of the capital, Amman, on the first day of Eid, where he was not a party to it, but he was parked on the side of the road when the accident occurred.

Firas explained that he was parked in his car at noon on the first day of Eid in front of a coffee shop, when suddenly a fast-moving vehicle appeared with people shooting at another vehicle they were chasing on the road.

Suddenly, one of the bullets penetrated his car from the side of the back door towards the top of the shoulder area, and exited through the side window, but God’s providence prevented him from being injured or subjected to any harm, estimating the distance between his body and the bullet that penetrated his shirt by one millimeter.

Fear and awe

To that, the young man added that he was in a state of fear and awe of what happened, indicating that he did not know those people and immediately reported the incident via the emergency number 911.

The young man continued his speech that, in record time, the security services and forensic laboratory experts attended the site, and the bullet and details of what happened were examined, and the nearby shops’ cameras were emptied; Where the number plate of one of the vehicles was identified.

Young Firas filed an official complaint with the security services, where the material and psychological damages are examined and the shooter is punished in accordance with Jordanian law.
