35 years after the movie “Running the Monsters” was shown, which starred a group of artists, including Nour El-Sherif, Hussein Fahmy, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and Hussein El-Sherbiny, the story of the movie returns again, but this time through the television drama portal.

The Egyptian producer, Mahrous Al-Masry, announced his agreement with the family of the late writer Mahmoud Abu Zaid to convert the story of the movie “Juri Al-Wosh” into a TV series that will be shown next Ramadan.

He added, in a press statement, that he agreed with the writer Ahmed Sobhi to take over the process of writing the script and the dialogue for the series, while Abdel Aziz Hashad is responsible for directing the series, especially since the two cooperated with each other last Ramadan and presented the series “Lail .. Mother of Girls.”

The producer revealed that the idea of ​​turning the film into a TV series had been in his control for many years, but the death of the late writer Mahmoud Abu Zaid in 2016 disrupted the project, before he finally signed contracts with the late writer’s family.

It is noteworthy that the production company and the makers of the series have not yet settled on the heroes, while the audience is waiting to know who will star, especially since the film achieved great success at the time of its presentation, and it became one of the most important films presented in the history of Egyptian cinema.

While only the artist Hussein Fahmy remained of his main heroes, as the artist Hussein El-Sherbiny left our world in 2007, the artist Nour El-Sharif in 2015, and the artist Mahmoud Abdel Aziz was absent in 2016.
