The Russian-backed ruler of Crimea said on Wednesday that a fire broke out at a military training ground in the Kirovsky district of Crimea. Governor Sergei Aksionov added via the Telegram application that the fire led to the closure of the Tavrida highway near the base.
Earlier, RBC Ukraine news agency reported that there had been explosions in the training area.
