Why did Adel Imam allow Farouk Al-Fishawy to beat him?

It seems that a special friendship brought together Adel Imam and the late artist Farouk Al-Fishawy, prompted the leader to agree that Al-Fishawy would beat him in a movie.

This story was talked about by Ahmed Farouk Al-Fishawy in a radio interview, where he emphasized that Adel Imam, since the beginning of his young career, never allows him to be beaten in one of his scenes. He also confirmed that Adel Imam did not accept that there would be a scene in which he would be “tortured.”

However, the matter was different in the movie “The Suspicious” presented by Adel Imam alongside the late Farouk Al-Fishawy, where there was a scene in which Adel Imam was severely beaten by Farouk Al-Fishawy.

This matter was commented on by the son of the late artist, saying that a conversation took place between the two before the scene was presented, especially since “the beating was real,” which was not accepted by Adel Imam, according to his assertion.

But the leader told Al-Fishawy, saying: “Your turn, do it as it is.. Live, O Fishawy.” It was not the last thing but to assume the character and beat Adel Imam.

Ahmed Al-Fishawy confirmed that “this matter did not happen in the history of Adel Imam, and it will not happen again.” What happened in the movie “The Suspicious”, directed by Samir Seif, is the “exception to the rule” of Adel Imam.
