The Organization of Islamic Cooperation participates in the meeting to implement the two-state solution

The Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and Jerusalem Affairs at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Ambassador Samir Bakr, participated at the head of a delegation from the Organization’s General Secretariat in the second meeting of the “International Alliance to Implement the Two-State Solution,” which was held at the level of senior officials in the Belgian capital, Brussels, last Thursday.
The OIC’s participation in this meeting confirms its firm commitment to supporting international efforts to end the occupation, aggression and illegal Israeli settlement in the occupied Palestinian territory.
Ambassador Samir Bakr affirmed the organization’s full support for international efforts aimed at finding a permanent, just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, based on the rules of international law, relevant international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
He also noted the importance of this alliance in enhancing cooperation and joint action between all international actors to implement their commitments and take practical measures that contribute to stopping the aggression against Gaza, delivering humanitarian aid and working to implement the two-state solution.
