Medical reports… Israeli pager attacks… affected the eyes and hands of Hezbollah members

Lebanese medical sources said: The majority of injuries recorded in the explosion of wireless pager devices were distributed among the face, abdomen, hands, and eyes, and many of the injuries were directed to operating rooms to receive the necessary care.
The majority of operations were for eye injuries, in hospitals in Beirut and the southern suburbs, which “became full of wounded people, whether in operating rooms, intensive care, or beds in regular and emergency rooms.”
This comes as the capital, Beirut, witnessed the arrival of relief planes from Egypt, Syria, Iran and Iraq. Baghdad confirmed that it would send a plane to Beirut carrying aid for the injured, according to local media.
The Lebanese Hezbollah held Israel responsible for the bombings, while the latter did not make any comment on what happened.
