The Saudi women’s team wins the international friendly championship
The first Saudi women’s team snatched the International Women’s Friendly Championship Cup, which was hosted in Dammam from January 11-19, with the participation of 4 women’s teams: Pakistan, Comoros, Mauritius, in addition to Al-Akhdar.
The green women were crowned with the title after they tied against Pakistan with a goal for each of them in the match that took place between them yesterday, Thursday, at the Prince Saud bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium in Al-Rakah, in the last matches of the tournament.
Al-Bandari Mubarak managed to score Al-Akhdar’s goal in the 28th minute of the match, before Pakistan women equalized with a goal in the 64th minute.

With this result, the women of Al-Akhdar topped the tournament with 7 points, 3 points ahead of Pakistan, which finished in second place.
The Saudi women’s team went to the women’s team, President of the Saudi Football Association, Yasser bin Hassan Al-Mishal, in the presence of the Assistant Minister of Sports for Sports Affairs, Adwaa bint Abdul Rahman Al-Arifi, member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Federation, Lamia bin Bahian, and the director of the women’s football department in the Saudi Federation, Alia Al-Rasheed.
